They get what they paid for. It's a rich area meaning the people there could easily live somewhere else, and this was a high risk place from this exact thing they knew that when buying property there.

If I was that rich, I would not ever decided to live there. It's like deciding to living in flordia then getting shocked by a Hurricane happening.

These fires, as far as I can tell, are symptomatic of poor prevention management by Newson and Democrats for years - decades.

California has always been susceptible to wildfires, but successive governments have failed the state which has led to 10 deaths (so far), over 130,000 people evacuated and thousands of homes destroyed.

You can add climate change as a factor, but to call it the only reason is lazy and obtuse. Plenty of fire experts have highlighted the lack of preparation, manpower and water.

Newson and Bass should resign.
