The state is underfunded, it's constantly selling its assets and a shred of taxation is received as plague by US bourgeousis.

Meaning the governemntal bodies are underfunded, understaffed and disorganised. But what do we see in mainstream debate? Elon Musk accusing Californian firefighters being too woke, leftists leaving people to die etc.

If they had taken meaningful action to fund firefighting units of California, issued extra taxes for it to the super rich, a mere %5 or something, Elon Musk would publically start a crusade against the very idea

I have a lot of people I love back there. Spent years there and know a lot of people who have had to evacuate. Homes gone they both live in and have lived in perviously. People move around. Even homes I watched tv shows film in are gone. My sister had thirty evacuation warnings and then a couple demands before the wind shifted last min and the fire headed in the direction of other horrified people. They aren't capable of putting it out. It will have to burn out. And there are two more wind events heading that way just this coming week.
