What would be aliens reaction/questions after seeing our planetary history? Not Hollywood BS! Will we do/be better by then? Will we make it that far?

Well I think aliens will be interested in the big picture and not care much about the minutia. I assuming they have been watching the earth since the beginning but have strict ethical rules about not intervening and knocking up pyramids.

The Aliens will know that the solar system form 4.5 billion years and the earth started as a mass of molten rock. They will know there was our proto ancestors about 3.7 billion years ago & be pleased these bacterium are still kicking on. So planet earth has to get good marks for being pretty quick at producing living creatures. In less than a bill years.

I expect a nod of knowing solemn alien approval for that.

Then there is long boring grind of evolution. I expect aliens to be quite species-ist and to barrack for the earth creature that most looks like them. If they have a reptilian form they will be very sad the dinosaurs didn't make it. If a homind form they'll be cheering us on.

At this point they will probably start running a book on whether we die out when plate tectonics stop in 1.5 bill years or if we might last till the sun swallows earth in 4.5 bill or if we take a short cut with nuclear weapons.

I don't think they will care much about wars any more than we care about lions eating antelopes or competition for mates. They might see wars in much the same way we see ant wars and be as dispassionate about it.

If we do look like having space ships they might think about pesticide.

In all honesty I actually believe aliens are already watching us. For 1 some of those government docs were super sus but, in all honesty, if they were watching us it ultimately makes sense that they would just watch. If they have developed a scientific understanding of galactic travel or at least the ability to see and monitor us from their home world we'd be insignificant. They had probably already created a post-scarcity society, and their technology would be so far above ours we'd have nothing they needed from us.

We wouldn't even be good slaves because by then they probably have better robots and automation than us that would make organic slaves not only less useful but more expensive. They literally have nothing to gain from invading us. I think aliens look at us the same way we look at monkeys. They're probably some alien writing the equivalent of a biology thesis about humans like some alien zoologist.
