Anyone else feeling bad for families in america?

I feel bad for families in america right now and im also a American that just wanted to vote for Americans safety and i did which is why I didn't vote republican but the way I'm seeing it, it feels like a lot of families are either going to be hurt or lose family members tomorrow in the mass deportation raid just because of their skin color or family race.

Am I sad over deportations? No. If they are being deported then they had no right to live in our country to begin with. I would assume deportations will affect those who have only been here a few months or a couple of years. It will affect criminals or those who have broken laws since they've been here.

The whole family can leave and go back to wherever they came from if only 1 or 2 are being deported.

Most of those who have jobs and who are law abiding citizens shouldn't come up on the radar.

If they are breaking laws... bye bye. I don't feel sorry for those who were never legal residents that our country invited in. If they snuck in and shouldn't be here... that is the gamble they took. Tough that they gambled and lost.

Our country, culture, society, taxes do not exist to help out the other 200 countries on the planet and to solve all of their issues... it exists for our citizens and children. Any new immigrants should come here legally and the numbers should be LOW. Not in the millions.

Can you explain why you think someone could be deported in the US "just because of their skin color or family race"? I mean, you've heard of the Equal Protection Clause, right? You also know that citizens can't be deported, right?

I appreciate you asking this and telling me this. But Well right now its not really looking like that's gonna be around much longer mostly because of project 2025 by the people who are in most support of the mass deportation. In the project 2025 One of the things to help make it happen is a plan to lower enforcement of civil rights pushing civil rights to only be used in the courts. Here's another thing to think about, with the addition of biases in human behavior and lower enforcement of civil rights, we've already seen plenty of instances where people shoot first ask questions second even in the event of a traffic stops or search warrants. Now it feels like when deportation officials come searching for illegal immigrants they will do it like how stop and frisk was done years ago solely based on suspicions and race, and in this case whether or not they look like they may be from the border. I really doubt the people will take the time to really evaluate the people they search for being real citizens or not. Equal rights like Equal protection clause might be ending soon for Americans so it wouldn't surprise me if citizens, yes legal citizens, would be deported too in the coming days based on the ending of civil rights being enforced on the field. It feels like they want them to be able to freely do what ever they want to deport immigrants.
So basically on Paper deporting illegal immigrants sounds fair, in practice it can look a lot different.

I feel bad for American society in general. The half on this site act like toddlers. They openly gloat and make a lot of very personal attacks against the other half, really finding joy in the other people who are unhappy. It's a sad, miserable, petty life that many of our resident Americans on this site live. I'm grateful I don't live somewhere with that kind of mentality or where every last thing is politicized. America is morally broken.

Anyone who is a citizen or a legal immigrant has nothing to worry about. Everyone else is still on the table. If somehow a family might get separated the whole family can be deported.
These people broke the law coming into the country illegally. They knew what they were doing and chose to ignore our laws. They should not be rewarded with a permanent vacation while there are people trying to immigrate by our laws and they get pushed to the end of the line.
