Can I start a new life in USA from scratch?

I want to study nursing in Turkey and move to America to work. But I am scared of many things. What if I get lost in America? What if I face racism? What if I get off the plane and don’t know where to go? What if I can’t find a nail clipper? What if there isn’t a store near my house? These kinds of questions overwhelm me. Do you think I can live in America?😭

Aww it's natural to feel fear and overwhelm when looking at the bigger picture.

Of course u can do it. Just concentrate on small steps at a time and facing each challenge as they come. Only through hardship and trial do we grow emotionally and mentally more mature.

Work out steps to nursing in Turkey. Don't worry about the rest right now. For all you know you could meet girl of your dreams and stay in Turkey. Or you meet a U. S friend who guides you on moving to U. S. or make other friends with same goal and you plan to venture forth together. So many possibilities. So again... small steps.

I'm glad! The bigger picture is just like a compass. A rough guide to direction but u still gotta concentrate on the path directly in front of you.

You need a greencard or work visa, beyond that everything is about where.

America is a big place twice as large geographically as Europe very few places are going to be suitable without a car. So you need to learn to drive and use your phone as a GPS. Never take a job in an area without first looking up the cost of living there to ensure that the Job is paying enough for the same.

Different areas have very diff-rent cost of living and taxes, so do your homework.

If you are adequate in English, you shouldn't have much problem. Many non pale whites here. (Turks are considered Caucasians. ) Racism is limited to the margins. Filipinos and Indians are flooding in. You should have no problem except that people are nervous and I think with good reason about Islam.

That is another problem. I am not even muslim and i hate islam. But i will have to face these discriminations just because of my race
