On day one Trump signed executive orders dealing with oil and gas drilling and regulation... If domestic natural gas is cheaper then nitrogen fertilizer will be cheaper which will make food cheaper after a growing season for various crops. If oil is cheaper, then gasoline and diesel will be cheaper. With cheaper fuel, you have less mining expense for phosphate, potash, calcium, sulfur, magnesium, etc. which brings down farm costs. Cheaper fuel leads to cheaper transportation costs leading to cheaper food prices. Trump already lowered food prices on day one. You just have to wait for the time cycle of the market to match the time cycle of farming enterprises. There is a production lag.

For many crops there are stockpiles of food that have the disastrous Biden inflation costs built in. Farmers had to pay Biden prices to produce those crops, so they will sell for a higher rate. As cheaper crop products enter the market, cost averaging will drive prices down.

When production cost is lower and market price drops, farmers generally utilize more of their land to grow more in order to meet a certain revenue figure. This leads to abundance in the market, which leads to lower production costs for food processors and and excess of food. To move that food more rapidly, grocers have more sales and more BOGO promotions and manufacturers produce more food coupons to boost statistics on sales reports to look good to stock investors. As they move more volume, they appear to be a growing company and draw more capital from the markets. Food coupons pretty much vanished in 2020 with the pandemic and supply shocks that got worse as Biden took over. They will return with abundant production and you will be able to BOGO and double coupon your way through a grocery bill and walk out of a store with 75-90% discount if you put in the effort. That's how it use to be, before Biden. Now barely get any discounts.
