First of all, the FAA director wasn't fired! He resigned because Musk hurt his feelings. Second of all, it was probably for the best that Trump shook up the aviation bureaucracy, because obviously, they weren't competent. Third, was Trump some how responsible for the staffing, budget cuts (under Biden) and actions of a helicopter pilot at Reagan airport on the night of the tragedy?

Trump effort to hire based upon merit is good and sound to me. I cannot speak to the sanity/delusionment of the left. We all react as if we are experts to any media puke of the day. Instantly, we are virus experts, analyze complex disasters, and feed the fuel of social chaos.

Maybe it's time to take the internet down for a while and go back to the 80's... we were all doing just fine then.

I agree, it's getting disgusting! Four years of Biden not doing anything right and now four years of Trump not doing anything right. In Biden's defense, I can't put his mistakes entirely on him, we all know he had very little to do with day to day policies.

The FAA has had a dismal safety record in the last 4 years. We do not know why but I am sure we will start to see improvement soon
