Easy! The military was running its first practical trial of a new counter-terrorism strategy that has been developed ever since 9/11. The suicide vest tore the aircraft in half and the blackhawk that was parked on the roof of the plane while waiting for extraction got caught in the blast as well and unfortunately also went down into the water with all hands lost.

Later that day there was an interview of George W Bush explaining how his one regret is that he did not give enough urgency and resources to this program so that this tragedy which he knew was bound to happen in the near future could have potentially been avoided.

And then everyone smoked crack.

It will turn out that there is some Truth to what President Trump has said. According to this article from Leftist Reuters, Biden hired Michael Whittaker to head the FAA in 2023. There was a severe staffing shortage of Air Traffic Controllers at the time.

Nothing was done to fix this problem because at the time of the crash last week there was only 19 controllers when there was supposed to be 30.

However , the standards for controllers had been changed to include people with mental deficiencies, missing limbs, epilepsy and other conditions as well as blindness. A recruiting ad was produced to try and attract members of minority groups to apply.

At the same time there is a class action suit representing 3000 white, male applicants who are qualified for the job that were not hired.

I admit this was extremely stupid. Trump should have gotten the full details before making an asinine assumption like that. It was also disrespectful of the families of the victims to make false claims. I still hate DEI but that absolutely was the worst time for Trump to bring it up.

However I also have a relative who was a victim in a mass shooting (true story). I won’t give out too many details of what it happened to protect his identity (and mine).

I recall the Biden making a completely retarded comment about gun control after that shooting. He quickly assuming the type of the weapon the shooter used (and he turned out to be 100% wrong). The local democrat governor (who was also a moron) echoed these sentiments as well.

This is not exclusively a GOP behavior when it comes to making false assumptions for political gain. Not making excuses for what Trump but just saying democratic politicians have been just as guilty of this crap as well.

Trump has always passed blame. For everything he does or doesn't do. He has never taken blame. It takes a man to accept fault.

In this case I believe it was helicopter pilot (s) error. It takes two pilots to fly a black hawk. They should both have been doing what was told by air traffic control, they should be supervising each other. What was told by ATC (1) keep below 200ft and (2) stay on flight path given.

They appear to have done neither causing the plane to hit them.
