For centuries the Palestinians have hated the Jews. If they were allowed to move back into Gaza they would just start killing Jews again in a couple of years. Trump is not interested in making the same mistake over and over again. He is looking for a solution that will not include Israel finishing the job of wiping out every Palestinian.
Invading another country and murdering hundreds of unarmed civilians and taking more as hostages was a crime against humanity. Netanyahu would not be wrong in exterminating them all in response. Trump is looking for a more peaceful solution.

October 7th was horrific and I don’t endorse it in any way, but the Palestinian people shouldn’t be annihilated for it. I also don’t forget the way I hear many conservative Americans talk about Jews, but if it’s against Muslims, then suddenly they’re on board. Most of this is based in Holy Rollerism, they think helping Israel will bring about the Second Coming of Christ or some other insane bullshit along those lines.
