I was just watching Martha MacCallum on FOX. She just had on a liberal who was going after DOGE. But he made the same mistake that all liberals make. They focused on “Big Balls.” That’s their whole gripe. Really? That’s the best they got?

The dork on Martha’s show focused entirely on his nickname. I mean, he couldn’t really sell his gripe based on the fact that American taxpayers don’t want their tax money going to drag shows around the world.

Honestly, if I were on the show I would criticize DOGE for valid reasons. Like, I understand government efficiency and I’m proud that it is a recommended facet in American politics. In fact I love how they killed the penny which was a waste of money anyhow.

My problem is Elon Musk wasn’t confirmed through the traditional process that everyone goes through, which makes me anxious about other billionaire lobbyist groups weaseling their way close to the POTUS regardless of administration. Imagine George Soros being in a ‘DOGE’ like thing and President Biden rubbing close shoulders…. Doesn’t sit well with me on any level because it is disgusting to have that much influence.

VP JD Vance spoke at Paris AI Summit and vowed that President of The United States Donald J Trump would always uphold the AI Industry and NEVER Regulate It. This comes as Elon Musk announced he wants to buy OpenAI which seems like a heavy wave of influence, not only that though Microsoft & Meta & Google & Apple ALL funded into Trump Administration’s transition to the Oval Office which all companies have one thing in common: Billionaire Corporations Working On AI As Big Industry Push. They lobbied the US Govt directly to interfere with regulations on AI so they can have no guardrails and maximize profit.

Why do we need to criminalize misuse of AI, push some common sense regulation, and make sure companies act responsible with it? Answer: Because when you don’t, it gets out of hand. General Motors back in the day told the government if they were to implement safety features like seatbelts & airbags, consumers would view them as unsafe & therefore as a result their sales would drop. Guess what? Consumers are still buying cars even with the increase amount of safety features along with guardrails ‘DMV’ to get a driver’s license and more like ‘recalls’. Corporate entities won’t suffer though they don’t mind it being an all you can eat buffet.

My concern isn’t govt efficiency more than having an out of touch billionaire looking after his fellow billionaires more than the public. This isn’t an extreme take, it is extreme to deny such a worry exists because it does.

@max3205 Then why are inflation prices 3% more than last year and 0.3% higher than last month and he still hasn’t addressed Bird Flu which a big criticism of his last run as President was that he didn’t address Covid19 and this is as he has attempted & succeeded to some degree cutting funding for disaster prevention and funding for our health system also has promised to stand with Health Insurance Agencies. He ain’t looking out for you and me just like Woke Biden.
