Are we all hiding our true face? What is your true face?

Id, ego, and superego. While this has fallen out of favor I find a lot of truth in it. The id is our natural desires. What we'd do if no one was looking or would ever find out. Our anger, lust, envy and whatever else. The superego is the societal mores and standards that are pressing upon us. The ego is the mediation between the two. Which of these is truly us? Is it the id, ego, or superego? I'd say it's the ego.

Yes, most people are faking because of the lack of need to socialise outside in real life that people can put up a front for a couple hours and go back to themselves at home

Social media allows us to hide our true selves. I try to be the same guy for good or bad online or in person. But it is tough at times.
