I was looked at as a freak yesterday for wearing one in the grocery store. It only bothered me a little but am I wrong to keep wearing one? I still have about 50 of them

I don't think so. Mostly because some businesses still require people to do so. So I think that it's best to keep one tucked away so you can wear one if a business requires it. If you don't see a posted notice, don't wear one. If you see a posted notice and don't want to wear one go somewhere else. Because regardless of your stance on the whole thing, you don't have the right to tell a business owner how to run their business. That very much goes for both sides of the debate. If you think people should be wearing a mask despite no posted notice, you have no authority to tell people to put one on or demand that a business requires them. In both ceases you need to go somewhere else.

A lot of people in my area still wear them.
I have to be very careful about not getting sick right now, and still wear them. Haven’t had a cold or flu since mask mandates started 2 1/2 years ago.
Mind you I had stock of N95 masks in my garage already for cleaning chemicals, I’m sensitive to that stuff. Don’t use the material masks.
I socialized with neighbors and friends who all came down with tough but survivable cases of covid two days after Christmas, they worried about me, but I didn’t catch it, and neither did the others who were elderly with good masks, so the N95’s work. Proof in the puddin’.

I never wore one. Over the past two years, my wife and I have gone shopping, dined with groups of friends, attended holiday parties, and been to large gatherings and rallies, shook hands, hugged, laughed and sung without masks with other maskless people.

Real doctors said it wouldn't do any good at all and, okay, you've got your mouth covered (lots of people always left their nose exposed!), what's to keep the virus from getting into your eyes? If you wanna wear a mask, you should go for it. It doesn’t matter how long anyone else has been wearing them or not wearing them. I still wear one when I fly, which is frequent. Our family puts one on if we feel like an area is crowded or if some of us don’t feel well but we still need to go to the store for essentials.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I'm still wearing an ffp3/N99 mask when I go out. If someone wants to give me funny looks I'll either give them a Clint Eastwood stare back, or laugh at them depending on the day I'm having.

If covid is airborne and 10x smaller than dust then what will a mask do? Did we wear masks for the regular flu? In some places (hospitals) they did, but did it work, or was it for optics? I can confirm that even in hospitals pre pandemic mask wearing was looked at as ineffective and pointless, just a dumb rule everyone knew was dumb

Are you wearing an N95 mask? b/c fabric masks don't do anything. Also masks only protect other people from you. Viruses can enter through the eyes, nose, mouth and more rarely the ears.

I was driving from NC to Texas and when I stopped at Alabama for gas I was wearing a mask, and I got the dirtiest looks 💀 Well I think it was because of the mask bahaha. No one else was wearing one. Here in Houston it isn't a big deal but some places still require it. Though most people don't wear one.
