Gas prices locally have dropped roughly $0.25 a gallon since Trump won the election and roughly $0.75 a gallon since 6 months before the election. I actually got several quotes roughly 6 months ago for construction of a building and I just got another quote about a week ago and the the price has declined $125K. So just because you're willing to pay more to feel like socialism works, doesn't mean prices aren't declining.
