How do you think they got rich? Crime… If you take away the street gangs, they no longer have a ground network to sell drugs, guns, and people through. They no longer have hitmen to take out adversaries or state witnesses that could put them behind bars. They no longer have an army of mercenaries to defend them when their name shows up on the Epstein and/or Diddy list or to cause chaos through wide spread riots to create a smoke screen for their escape. Their criminal network is being dismantled and it puts them in danger.

If you're coming for everyone, even if they're innocent, you should be resisted even if you might catch one or two actual criminals. To protect the innocent.

If you reasonably asked for permission to deport convicted criminals at the end of their sentences, or even when they're paroled, you'd probably have popular political support.

False Asylum claims, ie economic migration under the guise of asylum claims. Incorrectly doing so would, for example, be not claiming Asylum in every country they pass through. Prospective Asylees are supposed to claim asylum in the next available safe country. They're not supposed to just pick their favorite country and go there.

No illegal immigrants are innocent, as they in fact illegally immigrated here. We are trying to capture more criminal illegal aliens, but if we find illegal immigrants also around them while we're capturing the murderer, we'll enforce our laws against them as well. So your point is based completely on a false premise.
Asylum seekers are trying to become refugees. In which case they have to be fleeing their country for political, racial, gender based violence. War, ethnic cleansing, persecution are the reasons you can be considered. In order to do so you have to apply at the nearest available country at a port of entry. You can't sneak in and apply after the fact except in extreme circumstances. When it's happening by the millions, if not tens of millions, it's a clear abuse of the process and if it can't be done properly nations will remove refugee status entirely. So I think democrats should be in favor of rectifying this issue before we have to just get rid of it and then actual refugees have nowhere to go.

Asylees aren't being deported. So correct? I guess? Pretty much all of them will be determined to not be refugees because they admit on camera that they're economic migrants that came because they were invited and wanted the benefits that accrue to being a migrant in US. Illegal migrants and particularly those that have committed additional crimes with outstanding deportation orders are who we're currently deporting.
