Someone is doing very well on welfare. But it's not poor people. It's government bureaucrats. Why do we tolerate this?

It costs you the taxpayer $31,000 a year for every person who is on welfare. But $16,000 out of that $31,000 never makes it to the person who is receiving the welfare. It goes to government bureaucrats who are working for the agencies that process the welfare. So why don't we just give $31,000 to these people and get rid of the middleman government bureaucrats? DUHHH.

It's no coincidence that the Washington DC area is the richest area in the country. Someone is getting rich on welfare, but it isn't poor people. In fact the number of people living below the poverty line has been growing and growing every decade since welfare programs started in spite of the fact that the costs to the taxpayers have increased geometrically every year. And in the meantime the politicians and bureaucrats got richer and richer. How do you suppose people like Biden owns multiple homes worth millions of dollars each and is a multimillionaire after 50 years on a "government servant's" salary? If that's a servant, maybe slavery isn't so bad.

Just like the "Education Department" (and every other department of government) the welfare departments are spending more and more money, taking more and more taxes from you and doing a worse and worse job every year leaving our children with one of the poorest educations in the world but at the highest cost and our poor people more and more poor while government bureaucrats and politicians get rich.

Want to know what DOGE is doing? Trying to get to the bottom of where the money is going! Is that a bad thing? Who would object to that unless they are doing something with your money that they shouldn't be doing?

Support DOGE. They are trying to get rid of the waste, fraud, abuse and corruption and cut your taxes while supporting BETTER lives for all Americans.

Someone is doing very well on welfare. But its not poor people. Its government bureaucrats. Why do we tolerate this?
