If you were, what psychological affects did it have on you?

a little bit yea. was bullied a bit by this girl in elementary because she hated that my best friend (also her friend) liked me a lot better and i was kinda meak and easy to walk over at the same time. i was bullied sporadically in late 5th-6th grade by a girl in my friend group who was a bit insecure and unhappy and took that out on me because i was fat and conveniently shy/weak. was teased very lightly again in early 10th because i was fat and i had a panic attack when a popular girl came to talk to me the first day, that made her think i was maybe a lesbian and that i was weird. i dont think it has really affected me that much aside from it making me realize in like 10th grade that i needed to be more assertive and stand up for myself (since then i'm more assertive, i'm not shy or a pushover at all anymore) and that i probably should definitely avoid being fat if i want people to respect/like me (i've been skinny the last like 5 years, though i'm at my fattest since i lost weight, at a bmi of 25. hopefully it doesn't get worse... adult bullying exists..)

yeah, all the way till 11th grade and it was pretty bad. having a bad home and school life just went hand in hand. made life miserable

effects? i'm not getting into all that BUT there is a lot of anger that comes from it (like to the point of shaking). so i'm quick to defend others and myself. also fuck cheerleaders and football coaches

I, a tubby kid, was in the schoolyard right after my mom died. I exploded in range and almost beat him  to death.  I had to be dragged off by the Principal. The bully was suspended in the spot and my pop was not even called.

Oh, God, yes. I was bullied repeatedly for years, and when a girl I had a huge crush on started urging a guy in our class to bully that ass, I was amazed by how it affected me.

I was considered weird and quiet so people were just rude. The last time I was bullied I cried and confronted them. They told ms they were talking about someone else. It hurts what terrible things happen

Good news is as an adult I became very successful and while these bully stayed in Texas earning minimum wage jobs. Feels good. I get to be a Karen to them is my revenge.

I was bullied from 2 to 15, it started when I first started school and ended in high school. It got severe when I was 10 to 13 (like physically bullying before it was mainly insult or joke).

Nearly all of my grade school years. It caused me to be the quiet Beatle. The less I said or did, the less I could get picked on... supposedly!!

I was bullied in junior high school. I was a fat kid that everyone made fun of. I went to a gym in the next town where nobody knew me and I rebuilt myself into somebody who could not be bullied
