What is your opinion on "white flight" or "self-segregation"?

It is frowned upon (and often unlawful) to stop racial diversity. You cannot tell blacks or Hispanics they cannot move into your neighborhood.

But what about a particular race of people deciding to separate themselves? Do you think this practice is wrong?

I personally gravitate to places that are predominantly my own race.

White flight is a phenomenon where white people move farther and farther away from places that become more diverse.

Seen this more than once. It's formed cities the way they are. I cannot blame the people... they want the best for their children. Those without the resources get trapped and sucked down into the mess.

The real issue when you state this is... parents. To some extent, it is resources and access to the best teachers and coaches. But it always starts with parents. My family didn't have much nor did my wifes... but we had two solid parents, dinner together, values taught, lessons learned, worked at young age.

Safety/security/culture is importat. What is the garbage fed to into the minds of these parents and kids from the media/music they choose? A lot of it is total garbage and I have no issue with people wanting to fee garbage, no matter what color they are.

We all know what happens over time... all other races will flee TO the white people. Often, they will create new issues.

I think it's stupid and logically flawed but it's not illegal until a non white tries to move into your white flight community and you do something to deny them housing or a job. Now we're right back to illegal segregation. Hence the flawed logic.

In one sense I like the idea of the racist filth of the USA locking themselves away from the rest of us so we never have to encounter them. They can take the religious extremists with them since the two things are often present in the same people. But the problem is that creates a cauldron of hate to exist and breeds more problems for society down the road. It's why we have MAGA today. We never dealt with the Confederacy after the Civil War. Once again the flawed logic bubbles to the top.

We have to get past the unpleasantness of dealing with these people once and for all.

First, race is a social construct with no scientific or religious basis - though both have been used in various times to try justify it.

When you get blood transfusions or organs, none are marked "for Chinese/Jewish/White/Black use only".

White people move away from high crime levels, high prices, high taxes, traffic congestion, scarcity of space highly unemployment rates, high pollution levels, lack of privacy, scarcity of resources, bad schools, etc. and thus as a result cash out and sell over priced real estate in undesirable locations, to move to more desirable locations. Minorities are less likely to do the same, because high taxes tend to translate to promises of social services.

People that tend to want social services are often unemployed or under employed and do not pay taxes, thus they do not care about high taxes because they don't give into the system they only take out of it. When they can't make ends meet, crime levels tend to rise. When crime rises, businesses suffer from theft and reputation degradation so as a result they close shop and that leads to higher unemployment levels. Low skilled low wage workers often work in factories that generate high levels of air and water pollution. Unemployed and low skilled workers tend to be of lower intelligence/ability on average, thus they generate children that perform worse in the school system. That is what White people are moving away from. White people are hustling to live a good life and raise smart strong children. The fact that that White people take the initiative to make that happen for themselves were as other races aren't as likely to be movers and shakers is what it is. White people follow their ambitions, and minorities want to get some free shit taken from White people's hard work. That's called being a leech.

I went inside a grocery store in a rough area once. There was this black kid. I can remember his name clearly, it was Demitri. I happened to glance at him and he took noticed. He tried to stir up a fight with me, and I just looked the other way. Fortunately an officer with a tactical vest was patrolling the grounds. He eventually went on his way.

More recently I was at a Panda Express in a normally white suburb. There was this impatient black young woman arguing with workers behind the counter. I spoke up and told them to assist her, because obviously "she was in a hurry". She mouthed off to me and with anger, snatched her order and stormed off.

This is typical behavior in areas seeing a growth in black population. They often have very little violent impulse control and sudden violent outbursts do occur when you stir them the wrong way.

I've been the lone black in a classroom, and I was treated decently, but it can be disconcerting, with nobody who shares your experiences.

I definitely don't have disdain for all black people. Just today. I was served by a very nice black woman and even gave her extra tip (25%), probably the most I have given to a server in a long time.

There are some great black people out there, but areas that are predominantly black, you cannot deny, are some of the most dangerous areas. For whatever reason, this is especially true in the United States.
