Where did all the gold go in Fort Knox?

Question

Is it there, or isn't it? They won't allow anyone to check gold bars to see if they are genuine. Fake gold has been found before. Is it fake or is it real? Because if it is fake we are in a world of hurt. They hold gold in 2 other places besides Ft. Knox. What they need to do is have 3 teams inspecting the gold and testing the gold to see if it is real or counterfeit. What is your opinion?

It's underground at the United States Bullion Depository which is located at Fort Knox. And it's checked... The United States Mint Police just don't feel compelled to tell you about it just like the cops in your neighborhood don't feel compelled to tell you about every traffic ticket that hand out.

(I was at Fort Knox in August 1978. It is heavily guarded.)

That said, the amount of gold bullion at the US Bullion Depository isn't even 1/2 of the total that the US has.

1974: Vaults open to journalists
September 23 - Fort Knox breaks from its strict no-visitors policy to allow a group of journalists and a Congressional delegation into the vaults to view the gold reserves. The Treasury Secretary allows the visit when rumors persist that all the gold had been removed from the vaults.

Previously, President Franklin D. Roosevelt was the only person other than authorized personnel to access the vaults.

2017: Vaults open for second historic visit
August 24 - Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin, Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin, and Congressional representatives visit the vaults. The vaults open to non-authorized personnel for the first time since 1974.

Fort Knox has gold, Elon Musk is playing a child with a plastic spyglass & paper map (which is just a diner table mat) going “mommy mommy, where is the treasure?”

Of course, the real treasure was the Emerald Mine his family owns to enrich his life of wealth so he could create PayPal then sell it to buy SpaceX where he would continue a trend of taking credit for others’ genius to sell the illusion he is a self made man.

Recently he changed an FAA $2.4 billion deal with Verizon so he himself could put Starlink into the mix replacing Verizon so he can reap the benefits. JD Vance at Paris AI Summit vowed to be Anti-Regulation at the same time Elon Musk threw around the idea of acquiring OpenAI. I’m sure this is all a coincidence, same with wanting tax cuts for the rich costing America millions in taxpayer dollars while sponsoring a bill that will cut $880 billion on Medicaid which will negatively impact millions of American lives (children, adults, and 2 in 3 nursing home residents).

It's really irrelevant if it's there or not. The Dollar isn't tied to it anymore anyway. The federal reserve having the authority of "economic easing" tells us it's a fraud. You want the price of gas back to $0.10/gallon... cut the supply of money off. Or, do what government has always done and make people's lives easier in exchange for votes.

Never really been a major gold storage. NY fed reserve was. The crown jewels of Britian were kept in fort knox for a time, famously.
