No, but only because I'm not a city person in general. I like green stuff and open spaces around me. But I like being close to all the stuff a major city has to offer. So the bedroom community suburbs of the NY Metro area work for me. I just train it into the city on Metro North for work when I need to.
I grew up in the same situation in the Boston Metro area. Not in Boston proper but, a Green Line ride away from my upscale town inside the Rt 128 beltway.

  @NoDecision Things get worse around here every day. My next door neighbors house got broken into so I bought a couple of firearms. Taxes are crazy too and they are getting worse.
