Because these rat fuck slimy politicians don't want to face their constituents now that the people they lied to understand exactly what the people they elected are doing to them. The Republicans have actually been advised by the RNC to stop all town hall events with constituents until further notice. They are afraid of being dragged into the streets and hanged by the people they have betrayed for cash from Oligarchs.

It's a good thing. The MAGA filth are finally starting to realize their votes mean nothing because these politicians have been bought and are working for the people who fill their pockets with cash, not the people who elected them.

I do not think it is a widespread phenomenon. This is really the first I have heard of it. It is probably more a function of that we just had an election. Town hall meetings usually are held before an election, not right after it.

President Trump addressed Congress two days ago. Polls showed that 69% of Americans think Trump is doing a good job.

President Trump's policies have been extremely popular and his approval ratings have been excellent.
