Then it magically (and predictively) turned into, āHey, he is busy fixing a lot of thingsā¦. Heāll get around to it.ā
Trump said he would get around to ārepealing Obamacare then replace it with his bigger better planā, get around to infrastructure plan, get around to veteran benefits, get around to pulling us out completely from Afghanistanā¦. Nice to know he never achieved those and it was the āunnamed previous Administrationā that achieved all.
Trump in this second term is all about money. $135 million from Crypto SuperPac made up by Coinbase, Robinhood, Doge, Kraken, Bitcoin, and many more which is why he cares about crypto.
$1 million each from Apple, Meta, Google, X, etc. which all just so happen to have AI Advanced Tools available which Trump vows to be Anti-Regulation in terms of AI.
Not to mention the Big Pharma, Insurance Companies, NRA, and more that have all plagued the Trump Campaign & Trump Transition in order to get their ends and means met more than average Joe working 9-5.
USAid is cut 80+%, Medicaid cut $880 billion if Republicans pass the Trump Budget, Trump Administration fired Veterans and now Democrat Politicians are trying to get them rehired in form of legislation.

You want to know why eggs are expensive? Perhaps it is because they use the same fraudulent PCR tests on bids to detect bird flu. It was another fake pandemic culling a lot of chickens. Now suddenly eggs are more rare and expensive, what a surprise. Problem is you can kill chickens quicker than you can replenish the lifestock. So first we need to stop using PCR tests for birdflu so the culling stops, then we need to wait until the chicken population stabilizes and only then can the egg market return to normal.
I am not aware of them fixing the PCR issue to solve this problem but lets say they did and its not being reported. In that case it would still take a few months to get into effect because you first need to breed those chickens and get them to egg laying maturity.
Because he's an asshole who couldn't care less about the price of eggs now, or grocery prices in general. He used that tactic as bait so that people would vote for him, just as he did use the border as bait and claim all Mexicans were rapists and criminals. He has not done diddly squat to curb prices down.
I'd settle for "not fixing it" by way of leaving it alone. It's soooooo much worse...

Why wasn't there any screaming when the price of eggs rose 65% during 2024? It did go down a little after Trump was inaugurated. Thr cost of gas has gone down 50 cents a gallon since Trump was elected. Nobody talks about that. Things are going in the right direction.
It is trump who ran his campaign on this issue.
He hasn't done anything but go after people who have gone after him or his businesses in the past. He has not focused on anything his voters voted him in for. Zero. Zip. Zilch.
The border is secure and thousands of illegals aliens have already been deported. A tax bill is going through congress right now, his Dept of Govt efficiency has uncovered over 100 billion dollars in wasteful spending , there are many other tings he has done. He signed over 300 executive orders doing things like keep men out of women's sports and signed the Laken Riley Act to detain illegal, aliens so they can be picked up by ICA and deported. Tht is not nothing, in fact it is more than Biden did in 4 years.

I have watched SOTU a few times. Mostly because I have to engage with people like you. And honestly, this was like a week ago. As for my position on taxes? I am willing to pay what is required to get the results I want. USA was hit by a global wave of inflation because of Covid19 and Biden brought USA's inflation level down faster than most other countries.
