It's factually true. If you are making up information all day long that is more to remember. If you lie you have to remember what you actually said and did plus the cover story.

Liars have to remember the story they told. And the interesting thing is they can't seem to resist enhancing it.

If I am doubtful of a girl, I will outwardly believe but come back to the story. If she 'had to work back' I might ask did she get paid for the hours a week later. If she was lying the story will be enhanced with subtle differences.
