I was at the store today and noticed that they'd added starts to a lot of the products while shopping to indicate that they're produced in EU or more so not in the US. đ Heard Canadians do it with their products too now.

Its not happening here yet , and I've not been back to Australia to check , but is any of this stuff goes ahead everyone will become insular , here in Thai , wherever possible I try to buy Thai because its local , and its much cheaper.
Bad example , but booze , Gin and Rum , the Thai ones are half the price of the cheapest import. Everyone will play this game , lets see what happens.
most products on the package say where from. They do't say on the label.
Yikes, that not good. You know what businesses will do... start labeling stuff wrong or creating fake business in say UK that restamps it.
I'm a US citizen and I don't blame them as I think it is criminal what the present admin of our country is doing to all of our friends (neighbors) around the world. Just remember we are all not as insane and demented as some seem to be. Most of the loud mouths are our Trailer Trash which still have no idea what they have created.
Unless a country is known for a product the country of origin is usually just a tiny label on the back. Its only when they want to promote it, eg, german beer, french cheese, does it get a more prominent showing. I've not seen anything yet to warn us its from America

Hej! I think here that has always been the case. Made in Germany has always been a powerful label, also ecologically conscious people want to know what has been produced locally, countrywide or shipped through half of Europe.
Yes. Live in the US and the store I frequent does tell you.
Though, it often says for produce âUS, Mexico or Canadaâ.
So, hard to tell from that.
I usually buy Made in USA products. There are a few specialty stores that advertise Made in USA.
In Germany, the country of origin is indicated for produce.
a lot of USA stuff has country of origin on the packaging not the shelf
They advertise it. Brazenly. The real question: Is it the truth? No
Americans should too, so they can understand whatâs driving inflation⌠theyâre government
Sometimes yes
