I think that we are rapidly getting into 25th Amendment territory here. Even if this gets resolved, Trump will have learned nothing from it, and he will repeat some version of this again and again until he either becomes our dictator or is removed from office. His particular psychiatric illness will simply not allow him to give up on this.

I read about this. And it is scary to know that some immigrants have been sent to detention centers with little to no medical attention, bathrooms, and so on. A little girl of age 10 or so died at one of these centers when she was held for 3 days, and I have no idea what the situation was, but it was bad enough that she died. I've seen a video of a man in Florida who is being detained, he mentioned people are being detained for a month, with nothing. These are like jails, and there are no places to sleep but the floors and chairs. It's a sin.

But not listening to a judge's orders is something that needs Congressional attention. It was said that the plane took off before the orders were given. Then the judge ordered the plane back, and nothing was done to follow his order. Then Trump is calling for the judge's impeachment, which Supreme Court Roberts has said cannot be done for different reasons--mainly that there is no reason to impeach.

This is the government taking control of everything--the courts included. This is nothing short of a dictatorship, and yet Trump's followers will continue to give him excuse after excuse. The reason being very simple: they think just like him with all their intolerances for people of races other than theirs. That they cannot deny.

So now it's up to people, Congress, and possibly the Supreme Court to interfere and put the Constitution laws back into place. This country is no place for a dictator nor a wanna-be king.

Cry me a river. A 35 year old mother of 3 was run off the road ba an illegal alien and killed. He just drove off. When the cops picked him up a few days later he said he drove away because he was drunk and did not want to get arrested. This was maybe 10 miles from where I live. This tragedy was hardly mentioned on the local news and the fact he was an illegal was withheld from the public. Spare me your tears

@exitseven Biden tried to make the border patrol better and immigration better as a whole when he proposed a deal in 2022. The Republicans shot it down because Trump advised them not to go with the proposal. Just so he could make that part of his campaign. Just so you know--Biden had no chance to fix anything when he had the orange turd there telling the (scared and obedient) Republicans what to do, period.

That deal was a total joke. It allowed 5000 illegal aliens a day to be admitted and if that limit was met there were ports of entry that they could still go through. There was not a penny for deportations and not a penny to finish building the wall. Trump was right to squash this bill.
Here we are two years later and the border is secured and there have been over 40,000 deportations already. Border Czar Homan is just ramping up too.

The 25th amendment only works if the cabinet and VP are not part of the criminal enterprise. tRump has purged every agency under executive control and installed his own submissive toadies. Do you really think the 25th amendment has any possibility under this fascist regime?

I don't. The last hope is a military coup. tRump and his entire criminal administration will only be removed by force at the point of a gun. And it's not just the executive branch. You'd need to clean out the House and Senate and the Supreme Court to stop the fascist movement. You'd also need to root out the people who funded the corruption of government, the Oligarchs who funneled dark money into political campaigns. The only thing which could possibly achieve that is a military coup.
