Even if prices in your area haven’t gone up yet or even lowered (which i highly doubt in most cases) isn’t it troubling that the guy who once said he’d lower prices now says he doesn’t care if prices go up? I find that messed up

Of course that’s messed up. But, I’m not upset that the prices haven’t come down. I’m more upset that I knew he was lying in the first place and all his supporters believed him. They haven’t come down in my area. The cheapest I’ve seen for eggs is $6.00. A friend of mine in japan who had heard about egg prices wanted to know if it was true. I sent him a photo of the egg prices at a Kroger. He couldn’t believe it and I jokingly told him I should get a chicken. He said it was a good idea! But they’re not allowed where I am, only on farms. So he relied he’d send me some.
That was one of Trump’s baits to get your vote. That along with migrants. Now that he’s here again, the economy will be worse off than when he left in 2019. Some prices are going down & I like how interest rates are going up especially on certificates of deposits. Gas is cheaper where I live & the bird flu killed egg prices. The previous administration spent so much money we are going to be paying for that for a long time.

But interest rates go up when inflation goes up and generally increases costs (like housing/mortgages). As for gas, the price has more to do with the international price of oil, but will go up this week as a result of tariffs
