Many of Trump's over 100 are just noise. As of March 25, about 53 of them have been paused or stopped, mainly because most of them fall outside his jurisdiction. The president can only enforce laws that are written by Congress; sign or veto new legislation; nominate Cabinet members and Supreme Court Justices and other high officials; and act as Commander in Chief. By this definition, the president cannot do the following: end the Dept of Education; end birthright citizenship; and end many DEI programs. He cannot override Congress's authority like trying to freeze foreign aid, control independent agencies like the SEC (Securities Exchange Commission, which monitors and prevents market manipulation) or terminate Federal employment. He also can't coerce or relaliate against people with executive orders, such as withholding money from states that disagree with his political agenda (think Maine) or law firms that investigated him.

Why does he do it then? 1. It controls the news cycle and makes people worry. He floods media news with tariffs, voting restrictions, and so on, to cover up things like the huge security scandal that happened recently. Thats why you are hearing all this other mumbo jumbo. In short, he is deflecting!

He is still getting more done in two months than Biden did in 4 years. He has reversed most of Bidens Executive orders, opening up federal land and hundreds of miles of coastline for energy production. Gotten men out of women's sports. He has effectively shuttered the DOE. Half the employees have already been let go. It was created by Jimmy Carter so Trump can shut it down. The borders were secured in part by issuing Executive Orders stopping the flow of illegal drugs into the country. He expanded access for InVitro fetilization.
There have been so many polices that will help Americans. It would be a chore to list them alll.

Biden signed the "Build Back Better" act in fromt of the bridge in New Hampshire that was condemned. 4 years later that bridge is just as condemned as it was 4 years ago. Biden got the spending money part right but as far as building anything, 9 charging stations were built at a billion dollars a piece and one did not work.
The only programs for the poor were for his family.
He created over a million jobs , However , they were all jobs with the government that just ballooned the deficit.
He got us stuck paying for the war in Ukraine and he was responsible for the botched withdrawal in Afghanistan that resulted in the deaths of 14 servicemen,
Of course he was also responsible for the invasion at the southern border. Millions of illegal aliens poured into the country. In 2023 alone it cost 460 Billion dollars to support them all. He really made a mess and now it is unclear who was really running the country. It is a sure bet that Biden did not even know half the bills that he supposedly signed.
President Trump has a short time to fix everything and it is too bad if he is not being very polite about it.

Biden did the same. It is more like public exposure of negotiation vs what they used to do... banter about issues in congress over written proposals. That is over since the two sides cannot communicate for last 10 years.

Executive Orders are a tool the President can use to force voting in Congress. Basically making congress earn their money. Yes, Trump has an agenda, yes it's an agenda the majority agreed with. The EO is forcing Congress to look at it.

The president by law cannot change voting rights. There is no Social Security scandal, although if he tries to do anything about SS Congress would have to bring it up. They have not. I am talking about the security scandal that happened when many of Trump's high officials, on. a commercial phone app, decided to plan a military operation on a country. They used this phone app, which anyone could download, to plan strategic military operations and it was leaked. This is "Signalgate".

A CIA plot? Interesting. But being that it was a shared phone app among those officials and people who work for Trump-- and it was leaked--I don't think the CIA has anything to do with it. Just like Watergate, had nothing to do with the CIA either. Those tapes weren't planted, they were found and leaked.

Yes, that about the classified information scandal is very dangerous and puts us in a vulnerable position. But think this: Congress checks on all he does. It's not heartening to know that there are more Republicans, but yesterday or the day before- 4 Republicans came over to the Democrats' side to undo Trump's tariffs on Canada, and they won the vote. So good news there--at least some of them are not so bad.

I am not, because I got it from a person who seems to know what she is talking about. She knows more about this and the laws that I do. I was worrying too, because he appears to be so powerful. He is not, and there are many limits as to what he can and cannot do.
