How do you feel about Steve Kornacki leaving MSNBC?

Steve Kornacki, a political journalist and tv presenter, most famous for his expressive way of explaining results of election night broadcasts in charge of MSNBC’s “big board" is leaving MSNBC as a result of split between MSNBC and NBC News, with Kornacki joining the latter one. There, he’ll serve as a contributor, working on “Meet the Press” while also providing broader political and sports coverage.

Kornacki’s exit is a key domino in the split between MSNBC and NBC News, with corporate owner Comcast working to spin off select cable assets into a new and independent, publicly traded cable television business dubbed “SpinCo.”

That’s been messiest for NBC News and its cable counterpart MSNBC, with the two often sharing journalists and resources. Prior to the divorce, Kornacki worked as a national political correspondent at both the networks.

I do not watch MSNBC, but elections nights with Kornacki were pretty fun, due to his spins.
