Started bad inheriting Trumps Covid Disaster. But ended pretty well. Now it's all gone to sht. Great job magans.

Because it was bad. We still pay inflated prices. The a-hole killed 100 million chickens to make eggs prices soar on Trump, so mean, so petty, so hateful. He spent trillions on nonsense like PPP which was loaded with outright fraud. He gave away billions to other countries via USAID for trans theater or other nonsense. It’s a lot of FRAUD, WASTE AND CORRUPTION. He jobs reports were lies that constantly had to be quietly redone and leaving Trump with rectifying the mess at the end of Biden’s term.

Trump is doing what others won’t, he is attempting to fix fucked up trade deals. This is for the working man, not the billionaires. We were on a Collin course with full economic collapse. It will be painful to fix but it is better than that. Many countries are dropping their tariffs to zero now. They will be the winners. Ross Perot famously called NAFTA a giant sucking sound of American jobs going across borders. Let’s have that happen in reverse now, no matter who complains. Billionaires, China, Canada, Mexico and Europe have been screwing us so yes they will complain. I doubt you are even American.

Here is what you don’t understand. The American people lived though Biden and Trump’s economy for 4 years each and know which was better, Trumps!

It is all about perspective in all honesty.

We could take a look at gas prices, grocery prices, shrinkflation, inflation, and more economic worries. Though when we look into those areas, people need to recognize and identify that this Trump Administration literally applauded and touted the stock market going down as a ‘success’. If The Biden Administration took credit for everything, Ultra MAGA would’ve lost their minds and collectively The Left too since The Left can see past this in ways Ultra MAGA won’t realize.

If you acknowledge there was an economic situation, you should be open to this economic situation rather than brushing it away as your “brave leader” goes to Maralago to win a second Senior club championship that he himself made up. It is literally rigged and so sad that Fox News has to showcase this to push away the economic recession we are finding ourselves in.

The economy was bad under Biden. The price of everything has doubled in the 4 years he was president. Gas was over 5 bucks a gallon and electricity and home heating oil were skyrocketing. We had a recession in 2022. The stock market went down and recovered just as he was leaving office. The problem is that everyone's investments were even with when Trump was in office but the cost of everything had doubled. The negative figures when Trump was president were due to the Covid pandemic. The entire economy was shut down and trillions of dollars were printed to keep the country afloat. The positive numbers when Biden first took office were due to when the pandemic was lifted. People were re hired to their old jobs, not from anything that Biden created. The data shown here is very misleading.

The economy itself was the result of massive inflation... everything nearly doubled in 4 years. Blame whom you want or what.. covid, etc.. it rocketed after he took office and changed policy.

It started to level out and as long as Kamala could have kept the debt under control may have worked ok for a time more. The issue is it wasn't sustainable... according to various people smarter than I.

I can’t answer your question. If only Trump hadn’t invented Covid! I know that I loved 5 dollar gas. The emptying of the oil reserves. Kissing countries, that hate us, asses to send us their “Dirty Oil.” People getting pay raises that still couldn’t afford any luxuries. Choking flocks of chickens while driving up egg prices. Allowing known criminals to cross the southern border and flying others in. Only the politicians got rich under Biden. Biden’s puppet masters knew exactly what they were doing?

While not a fan of Biden, he was genuinely great for US economy. People who say otherwise tend to have never seen any real numbers on the matter.

I find that the US political climate is mostly two sides screaming at each other and refusing to believe anything the other side says.

Which as an onlooker makes it all the more curious when we have access to unbiased reporting and fact checking.

Why do idiots like you think you know something about economics? For example, you do realize that government spending is part of GDP, right? And that it isn't sustainable to have budget deficits of 6% of GDP?
