He promised a lot of things, but what has he promised that has come to fruition?

I’m a former Trump supporter and I’ll try to list every promise he failed at the first time, I don’t feel I need to recap the recent ones that he broke since Trump views his own voters as ‘they don’t stand for anything so they’ll fall for everything I say’.

- He’ll repeal Obamacare (AKA Affordable Care Act) and replace it with his bigger better plan. This failed since he never released any aspects other than, “I have concepts of a plan” which doesn’t count also John McCain thankfully saved Affordable Care Act by being one of the few Republicans that stood against Trump’s initiatives.

- He’ll pull us out of Afghanistan completely within four year term of office, not only did he fail at this royally however he actually continued to support the Obama Administration idea of establishing a Democracy there. After realizing the Afghan people would never fight for freedom he continued to pour government dollars into this disaster even when we knew it was a lost cause.

- Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, failed. He would keep tweeting from 2015 to 2020 how he would pass an infrastructure plan and he alone can fix it… I don’t need to tell you where that went because we know it was Biden Administration that achieved this along with other promises with an even smaller House of Rep. & Senate majorities.

- Promises to Expand Veteran Benefits (Never did), The Wall will be paid off by Mexico & The Wall will be finished in four years and The Wall will fix immigration (All these statements of The Wall were BS), and Be The Best Jobs President (lost the most jobs under 2020 due to not realizing you fix the economy by fighting the Covid19 Pandemic Spread), Support the peaceful transfer of power (Insurrection)

There are more broken promises like finding evidence Hillary Clinton committed crimes on an unsecured email server to land her in prison under direction of Trump to the DOJ and on top of that ‘if she were elected would be the first sitting President to face criminal trial.’ (I’ll add proof of this in the reply section)

He has secured the southern border, begun mass deportations, and formed the dept. Of Government Efficiency to identify fraud and waste in the federal government. there is a major tax bill in congress now that will make the Trump tax cuts permanent and eliminate taxes on Social Security and tips. There is a ceasefire in the works between Russia and Ukraine and there have been the release of many hostages held by Hamas.
Last week tariffs were imposed on foreign countries that have long imposed tariffs on the US. He is also securing foreign investment in the US that will result in tens of thousands good paying jobs. He also prohibited men from competing in women's sports.
These are all campaign promises that he made. There are others that are completed or that are in process.

He's made efforts at most all I can recall.

* Secure border and toss out those not here legally. That is of course questionable as to what is legal, won't get into that.

* Attempt to stop Ukraine war. bombed so far... no pun intended.

* Attempt to stop Israel / Gaza war. bombed so far...

* Attempt to repair government finances. In process, questionable if gonna work... it's a maybe with a lot of pain coming.

CHECK. He has been doing that big time since elected.

He promised to make a task force to go through and analyze the government's spending to find and eliminate waste and corruption.

He has only been president a couple of months. Why don't you wait until year 3 or 4 to start whining about promises that haven't come to fruition yet.

Anyway, the mass invasion of the country by millions of foreigners was the biggest threat to our nation. That is why I voted for him. He has been knocking it out of the part on that huge issue.

Did he promise a lot of things, though? This time around, he only ever made incredibly vague claims about what he was going to achieve, with absolutely no mention of how he was going to achieve it (because he didn't know then, and still doesn't know now), and absolutely no quantifiable definition of what success or failure would even look like (so noone can prove he failed) - basically, he didn't really promise anything at all.
Presumably, he learned his lesson the first time around, when he made a lot of promises that he then indisputably failed to keep (building the wall, for example).

What has he promised that has come to fruition? Securing the borders and deporting dangerous illegals, cutting fraud, waste and abuse in the federal government, legally banned biological men from competing in women's sports, legally banned harmful DEI policies in government and public employers.

There are plenty of other examples, but you get the point. Just because you may not like those changes doesn't men they didn't happen.

He is making progress. The final results are the only things that matter. And in my view his deadline is October 31st 2026. Whatever results he has gotten by that date are likely to be the final ones, if Democrats take over either the house or the Senate.
