If I were in charge of immigration I would have set hard numbers, like only 10,000 or 50,000 a year can immigrate.

Only those who have been vetted and love the USA and who want to assimilate and join our culture and be Americans. Anyone with any hostile feelings or anyone wanting to start up a new society with their own schools, their own holidays, new religions... no entry.

The country needs to be unified with a common shared culture. Others (in small numbers) can move in and join our culture but no one who wants to introduce a new, separate society within our borders, new churches/religions we've never had, new holidays, new separate schools, new islamic schools, Sikhs suing the air force so that he doesn't have to follow the dress code and he wears that turban on his head. We shouldn't admit people making us change our laws for them.

That is the kind of stuff when done in large numbers and you let in millions doing this stuff, it destroys American society.

I would not really just let it happen. I very much prefer the Ten Commandments and the Christian ethics to any other legislative system. However, if the only choice was between the wokeist hellscape and Sharia... Well... I am not really an avid drinker, so I suppose the only thing I would be lacking is bacon. I mean, I do not think the Muslims would barge into my home to check whether I am actually a Muslim or a Catholic Christian, as long as I adhere to all the rules in public.
