i would just let him watch it when he's older bc he won't understand the humor and references that well

like i watched south park, step brothers, and stuff like that at that age. it was entertaining, but i feel like i didn't ACTUALLY understand the humor until i was a teenager. it's why i never laughed at that stuff as a kid

The violence, gore and sex shown, especially in the earlier seasons. I was like 7 when I accidentally watched the episode where Mr Garrison gets the sex change, and in that episode they show a clip of a real surgery, and that messed me up.

To me letting kids watch shows like that is child abuse because it’s exposing them to content that their underdeveloped minds can’t handle, and it only goes one of two ways: they either become desensitised to that content in life which has its own problems, or it traumatises them.

Not at five. Granted it is the finest satire ever produced since Marat in his bathtub but it's not for kids. My teenagers love it tho & so do I!!

When he's older watch it together like I do with my kids.

I do not know what South Park is. I would never let my kids watch Ren and Stimpy., Pee Wee Herman or Bevis and Butthead.
