So, President Trump just signed the Restoring American Seafood Competitiveness Executive Order. It’s about time.
For too long, American fisheries have been shackled by overregulation and undercut by foreign imports.
Meanwhile, the same crowd that insists on "sustainable" soy burgers can't define what a woman is — let alone grasp the importance of a thriving domestic seafood industry.
Shouldn’t we be proud to have a President who wants us to eat U. S. shrimp without worrying whether they had to meet a DEI quota before hitting our plates? Shouldn't we be happy America has a dominant fish market or is that just too Nazi for some people?
Maybe the real question is: why does the left seem more offended by tariffs on foreign tuna than by the collapse of our own working waterfronts? Smells fishy to me.
