Every film starring a female protagonist or minority group is attacked by right-wingers. There is always a reason to complain. The story may be new and original, but they will find a way to complain. Why does this happen?

Is it? Or is it something movie and pr companies put out there for publicity or to excuse why a movie was terrible and made no money?

I reminded of Elizabeth Bank's Charlie's Angels movie, she said she didn't care if men didn't like it and that men shouldn't come to see. What happened was that men didn't come to see it but neither did women. She blamed misogyny for the movie's failure.

A good example recently was Madame Web & Anyone but you. Both featuring Sydney Sweeny. One a superhero movie featuring 4 strong independent female superheroes, the other a Romantic comedy with Sydney Sweeny wearing mostly a bikini and a buff guy. One with a major budget the other a low budget. Both released the same week. Which one do you imagine made money? Which one did women see, and which one did guys dragged a long by their girlfriend's and wives did they see? Did madam web bomb because of misogyny or because women have no intrest in superheroe movies that doesn't have a buff guy like Henry cavil, chris Evans, chris helmsworth etc?

I see. So it's enough to sexualize female characters and make them submissive and obedient, but how does that work for minority groups?

Absolutely. Worked well for 50 shades. Was women who went to see that after all. If you are making a movie for minorities you make something they want to see. If I was making a movie for Hispanics, like a Hollywood blockbuster is would be made on spainish for instance.
Women love Romantic comedies and Romantic dramas, we always have. We aren't to big on action movies and superhero movies. If you actually look at it, Hollywood has made the same movie over and over and found success from pretty woman to she's all that, sabrina, pride and prejudice etc. They all have the same theme.

What patterns have you seen where the antagonists of these movies are explicitly depicted and identified as “right wingers”? If you think that the people that “attack” women and minorities in movies are right wing then that should tell you something.

I don't know what you're talking about. There's a pattern that's becoming increasingly obvious. Any story that isn't centered on white men, especially stories that focus on minority groups, is attacked by right-wingers.

I don't care who the enemy is. I'm saying there's a pattern, and the pattern is that right-wingers attack any story that has a minority as the protagonist.
