Is this a coincidence or does it mean something?

I see signs of my ex everywhere. His favorite number appears all the time more often than it usually does, I see people he is associated with just around and random things just happen. We aren't together. He goes back and forth between me and his other ex and is currently living with her. Is this just a weird thing or do these signs mean something?

Don't pay attention to these "signs" it's just your head messing up with you. It's probably cause you are not yet over your ex, that's why anything associated with him makes you think that it has some meaning.
