Since the right's favorite movie characters from the 2021 movie the January 6th insurrection and trump have been reasonably charged with felony they see it befitting to start demonizing, the judges who think and act clearly, the reasonable judges that make decisions without any political favoritism of the right or the left. If any judge does something republican maga doesn't like their days as a judge are numbered, regardless of the judge just doing his or her job.

It's been mentioned this will be the way of the land in their conservative promise project 2025.

Shouldn’t you release the evidence right after the arrest was made in a form of warrant or other official documentation like how government used to be before you clowns got in? Also if you had the evidence for a week and refuse to show it, how can we possibly believe you will be transparent enough to share more when you didn’t share anything thus far.

NO. That's not how the justice system works.

You release nothing until there is an actual indictment is issued by a grand jury. THEY see any evidence before charges are brought. Arrests can be made before charges brought, but the arresting authority must present probable cause almost immediately. That's what Habeus corpus is all about; that the person being detained has a right to appear before a judge to ensure that their being held is legal.

Believe it or not, the nonrelease of evidence protects the accused. For instance, suppose Bob is a presumptive child pornographer. He is arrested and held. Evidence is presented to the grand jury includes genuine child pornography images and videos on Bob's computer. But the grand jury is smart and they ask if anyone else has access to the computer and/or may have Bob's password. Did they talk to other family members? Etc... The prosecution didn't check that...

(It turns out that the culprit is Bob's wife who secretly hates Bob. She had Bob's password and secretly planted the child porn on Bob's computer and set Bob up hoping he'd get prison. This way, she doesn't have to divorce him but can enjoy their life without him.)

The grand jury decides not to indict Bob and charges against Bob are dropped... for now. The prosecution and police may continue to investigate and maybe they will discover it was Bob's wife... This is the sort of shit you see on Law & Order...

Anyway, do you see how Bob is protected? If the prosecution released evidence that Bob's computer had child porn, then Bob's reputation is screwed even if he is later absolved of it. That's just human nature - there will always be people who will believe that Bob is into child porn, especially Bob's wife's family.

No one is above the law.

Judge Dugan went out of her way to interrupt the defendant's trial and led them out a back entrance, because she knew that ICE agents were waiting outside her courtroom to take them into custody and probably deport them. This resulted in a foot chase out on a public street that could have injured innocent members of the public.

There is no doubt that what she did was wrong, knowingly helping criminals to escape... from their trial as well as from ICE. That's multiple felony counts, and she should be prosecuted. Judges should uphold the law, not knowingly break it.
