Do You Find Trump Creating An AI Post of Himself Dressed As The Pope Disrespectful?

Donald Trump recently took to Truth Social to post a now-viral AI image of himself dressed as the Pope, one week the funeral of the late Pope Francis, who died on Easter Monday. And because of that, people on the internet are furious. The image was then reposted by the official White House X account, receiving over 20 million views as of now. Many individuals especially those in the Catholic community have said Trump's post was deeply insulting to the Catholic community in addition to being deranged. What are your thoughts about the issue? Do you think Trump was trying to be funny or is do you find this completely disrespectful? And if you are Catholic do you find this disrespectful and an insult to you community/religion? What is your opinion on the matter?

It's funny, but also dumb and kind of cringey. Personally, I want a Trump-style, very strong shaker-mover kind of personality to be the pope, but Church politics and American politics are two different animals. And the more conservative and tradition-friendly candidates who are also good managers (which I also want) aren't that. So I'll just have to take the meme for now.

Bottom line, no. I don't think it's particularly disrespectful.

No I found it funny, I don't think him playing with the idea that he wants to be pope is disrespectful. He clearly has respect for the position and spoke fondly of it. Following up with a what if joke is fine in my book. If he did that with something I am i'd have the same opinion.

Yes, but I'm ok with it. It's kinda a positive in that we can genreally speak freely, as long as ya ain't' talking bad about Israel you are ok.

If he put himself as Jesus on a cross, that might be a stretch. Pope is also a stretch, but he's poking fun back at others.

Not sure really, I don't care about religion. The supposed Pope didn't care about it either. He never condemned homosexuality, advocated for so "migrants". He was just another globalist stooge. I hope they get a real Pope next time but I'm not optimistic.
