Are people going to laugh etc or think anything off me for swimming with armbands In a pool?

I would assume it was a bit for a joke to see any grown adult with inflatable arm bands. I wouldn't even think it's safe in the first place. If you can't swim and can't stand on the bottom you're in over your head.

Majority of pools is at most is 6 feet deep so just stand or even sit on the shallow end like most adults enjoy the pool. Even those adults who have zero swimming practice.

Even if you are entertaining the idea of actually learning to swim for the first time stay in the shallow end and stand up if needed.

The armbands are for kids too short in the most shallow part of the pool. So I can't imagine why you're even considering using them other then a joke.

Are these armbands floaties or black armbands for mourning? I would hope not at the later but possibly not many would know what a black armband means now.

If just floaties than it is sort of cute and a come on to the guys because clearly you need a man to keep you safe.

It's fine. But you should learn to swim too. I'm not a strong swimmer, but can do 50m in ideal conditions. It's enough to not drown most of the time
