This is the chicken and the egg discussion.

MAGA are primarily ignorant, uneducated and lazy. But why?

They are largely from a religious upbringing and social group that has trained them from birth to accept beliefs rather than using cognitive ability to think for themselves. Any batshit crazy belief. It suits their inherent nature.

So MAGA brains lack the cognitive ability to even be curious about facts. They lack the motivation to seek out the facts. Oh, they'll get exposed to some facts just being alive. But if they don't like an uncomfortable or inconvenient fact they simply retreat into their beliefs and ignore the facts. This is why it's impossible for the MAGA brain to connect the dots between actions today and future consequences tomorrow. Like a dog, if it isn't happening to them, and it isn't happening now, it doesn't exist for them.

So are they stupid? Yes. Have they been trapped inside an anti intellectual culture? Yes. Have they been trained from birth to NOT think? Yes. So... chicken and egg. It's multiple problems that produce the MAGA brain.

did a kid or someone shoot a kid? did he shoot himself? those are distinctions we have to make to analyze your question and make a better point. where were these guns obtained? legally or not legally? i would think that most of those shootings would be from illegally obtained guns. but check the demographics on that too because that is distinct.

Facts no longer have any value in America, even the definition of fact has lost its meaning. That guy isn't prolife because he's thought long and hard about the issue, he's prolife because he feels the need to conform to Redcap ideology. He's pro gun, thinks climate change is fake, women should be in the kitchen, and blacks to the back of the bus. Ask him if he prefers Pepsi or coke and he'll flick through the redneck manual.

I mean trumps strategy for more voters is to destroy universities and schools. Less knowledge and facts =more maga. It can't get more obvious. I have never written with a maga person that actually stayed factual. Same with any right winged extremist to be precise. Its like they are alergic to facts.😅

The problem with those facts is that children account for a very small percentage of deaths in America, because they are more protected than adults are. When adding in gang violence and school shootings, then of course guns would be the leading cause of death.

And it when it comes to gun control, it depends on how that is defined.
