I won't apologize for what I haven't done, anymore than you won't apologize for the barbary pirates or for the enslaved women throughout the world today, that are being controlled and abused today but Africans and middle eastern and by black people in the USA. But I will recognize the reality of others and attempt to treat them as worthy human beings and help them on their path to better life. That, is not easy sometimes... as people don't want to do the hard work or change.

@OddBeMe When I was in college I watched minority kids getting free rides while i filled out all the forms and got diddly squat financial aid. The same thing with employment. When I ran my own department I was told that I had to hire a minority even though they were not the best qualified. People of color were not at a disadvantage.

Yes, there were quotas at a time, but no one told you to hire an unqualified person. If they did, you wouldn't have done it anyway, so don't lie. @loveslongnails You are right. I was told that they had to be qualified. However if I had white candidates that would have been more qualified I still had to hire the minority candidate. The reality is that once they are hired it is very hard to get rid if them. I ran a small department with 7 technicians and if there was one person that was not doing the job correctly and if political correctness prevented them to be reprimanded or fired it causses a lot of discourse with the rest of the department.

Or how a minority hire turned out to be a great find. Or how you were told by your direct boss that the CEO told him to tell you to hire the unqualified white guy because it was his brother-in-law.

This is what magats do... they strawman everything. NO ONE ever said "apologize for being white". They said "recognize that you've done some REALLY fucked up shit, as a white race, and you still demonstrate all your hate for those not like you".
