They are sick of having a two tier justice system. There are rules for citizens and there is a separate set of rules for illegal aliens.

Citizens go to prison for not paying taxes. Illegal aliens do not pay taxes, they get welfare and other benefits that Americans could never get and when they get arrested , they are set free ,

The vast majority want them all deported and the democrats are doubling down on keeping every single one of them firmly entrenched in the welfare system. They care more about illegal aliens than they do American citizens.

Sen Van Holland spent thousands of taxpayer dollars getting an illegal alien released from an El Salvador prison. He could not be bothered to contact the family of Rachel Morin, who was a citizen and another of his constituents to see if there was something he could do to help them since Rachel was killed by another illegal alien.
