How can a girl escape from her home and leave Afghanistan?

In Afghanistan and parts of India, girls are not allowed to work or go outside freely. If they try to go out, the Taliban may attack or abuse them. Even if a girl removes her headscarf, she can be targeted. They don’t have identification documents because they are women, so they can’t travel anywhere. They are not given education, and girls are often handed over to men in exchange for money — without even a proper marriage.

How can a woman who doesn't want to live with her family and feels imprisoned in such a place escape and leave?

I live in Turkey and asked out of curiosity, trying to empathize with what it would be like if I were stuck in that awful place. Women in Afghanistan cannot use phones freely; even if they do, the Taliban listen to their conversations and monitor their phones. And escaping with the international support teams you suggested is dangerous—if they catch her, they either kill or harass her.

I have somewhat intimate knowledge from unrecounted events and I think your best bet is probably to flee to a neighbouring country either via smugglers or as a group disguised as "family". It's costly to have people get you across, though, if it's insanely difficult to do it yourself but it is possible and I'd say it's the most moderate approach you can take, despite how risky it is. Once you're in, you should try to seek asylum through a non-profit for women.
If you can get family help, that would be the safest option especially if you have a male family member who you will have to have in order to get past border control.
However, if you ever get found out, your family will suffer punishment for allowing you to escape. That makes it difficult to get people involved because they may not want to face potential repercussions if shit hits the fan.
This would also have to involve falsifying papers and/or paying costly bribes as you, as a woman, would not have ID.

Find an embassy from a Western Nation and seek asylum. If one does not work, try another. You will definitely need a ‘trusted’ male to escort you around to keep you from being arrested or assaulted. If embassies do not work, you might have to contract a paramilitary organization for an extraction. Not cheap by any means but likely will get you both out unscathed. Finally, there are a few organizations that help those who are “trafficked”. You can tell them your situation and they might be able to help you or maybe at the very least provide you with other avenues. God’s Speed.

What if that person has no money — won’t they help then?

I really do not know. I say expensive due to the logistics involved in going the paramilitary avenue. You can try. There are several security contractor companies you can reach out to and ask. Doesn’t hurt to ask.

They cannot ask for help, and if they try to escape, they get caught. Unfortunately, there is no protection for them either—once caught, they are harassed or killed. If the Taliban take their phones, they go to their homes to search and monitor their belongings, listening to and spying on their phones.

That is why I suggested a paramilitary organization. They are better trained/equipped for principal/asset retention, protection, and recovery. Again, just not a cheap approach.

I'm Turkish. I think those people you mentioned do it for money—they are trapped there. If I were there, knowing I would be executed for it, I would shoot those sons of b**** with all my anger and rebellion, throw something at their heads, and then happily accept death. I would be so glad to die because of those Taliban.

First do your homework. The Taliban are incompetent but ruthless. Study satellite images of the aria. If you can even get to the woman in question or she can find a way to do it herself women can easily be made to look like men. Not so the other way around. Back to that incompetent thing, documents should be easy to forge you just know the Taliban have shit security.

My impression is that finding a place to go to is as hard or harder than leaving. The mere fact you are downtrodden doesn't qualify you as a refugee, and if you don't have e. g. a university education then no Western country will take you through their economic migration programs. Which leaves most women in Afghanistan stuck there. Forever. I'm not arguing for that outcome, it just is what it is.
