These days, I hear A LOT of people that start sentences or respond to questions with, "I don't know". Quite often, as soon as they say that, they explain that they DO know!! It's almost as bad as how people start sentences with "I mean" when they haven't even said anything, yet or "So", as if they are in the middle of relating a story when they haven't said a single word, yet.
