Two prominent presidential historian polls have him near the bottom.

First is the Siena College poll which always occurs after the 1st year of a new administration. So, their last one was in 2022 and a new one will come out next year.

For the second time, scholars include Donald Trump along with Andrew Johnson, James Buchanan, Warren Harding and Franklin Pierce in the bottom five.

The 2024 Presidential Greatness Project Expert Survey was conducted online via Qualtrics from November 15 to December 31, 2023. Respondents included current and recent members of the Presidents & Executive Politics Section of the American Political Science Association, which is the foremost organization of social science experts in presidential politics, as well as scholars who had recently published peer-reviewed academic research in key related scholarly journals or academic presses. 525 respondents were invited to participate, and 154 usable responses were received, yielding a 29.3% response rate.

In 2024, this was their rankings; Trump is at the bottom:

Donald Trump rates lowest (10.92), behind James Buchanan (16.71), Andrew Johnson (21.56), Franklin Pierce (24.6), William Henry Harrison (26.01), and Warren Harding (27.76).

I’d have to say so. It’s not even his performance as much as his intentions.

This is definitely the first President of my lifetime where I’ve felt like we may not come out of this ok, which is a really foreign and scary thought that I never thought would have to cross my mind. And it’s worse than the first time. He had things in his way the first time. Now he’s surrounded by yes-men who don’t stop him from doing crazy shit. I think a bunch of people already resigned or were fired by this time last term of his. This time he just picked his fan club of mostly TV personalities who have a sworn allegiance to him and in some cases are as crazy as he is, or worse.

Look, if you’re a sick fuck who wants to throw confetti over the idea of cruelly-executed illegal deportations, then this is your guy. You’d deserve each other. And that, he’ll probably deliver on.

All the other stuff that basically boils down to a promise of more money in your pocket, or some great American renaissance of some kind…. don’t hold your breath.

I always say, it’s not even the politics of it all as much as I simply can’t believe tens of millions of people actually believe what this obvious hustler says. Like if he were pitching me stuff I wanted to see, in the way he does, and assuming he’s got the same character in this scenario…. I would NEVER fucking buy it, because “DUH.”

Just for his stances and actions against Habeas Corpus, Due Process, and Natural Born Citizenship puts him at the worst at preserving, protecting, and defending The Constitution of The United States of America.

When it comes to environmental protections, he cut 200+ environmental protections the last time he was here and continuing to do the same while creating new ways to undermine it utilizing Lee Zeldin. The worst at protecting the environment.

When it comes to our health and safety, he removed us from The Pandemic Plan in 2018 which would’ve saved lives if left alone and worse he pulled us out of ‘WHO’ which just today has pushed an agenda to work globally to learn from the mistakes of Covid19 to prevent another global pandemic…. Not to mention Measles has spiked past since its high in 2019, which Trump was President the first time around so he is worst when it comes to health.

When it comes to lobbyists influencing the govt, I would say having a $30+ million superpac comprised of Coinbase, Doge, Bitcoin, Kraken, and others to win you an election to drive policy while also getting millions in the transition to public office via Amazon, Google, Meta, Microsoft, and more really highlights the corruption. Making him the worst in terms of government influence. That is not mentioning The Heritage Foundation, Moms of Liberty, and other Conservative think tanks pouring their influence the way Republicans claim George Soros does for Democrats.

Do I even need to talk about undermining the 2020 election results, leading a coup de tat against United States of America then pardoning the rioters also settling Ashli Babbitt’s family $5 million recently, and trying to get his Vice President killed?
I feel like that would make someone go down as the worst President, but combine all and you have someone 1000x worse.

Also him being a literal convicted felon who was elected into office, really shows he is the man of the law….
