Should a story that focuses on non-white people avoid creating white characters?

It's complicated, because apparently the existence of white characters in a story can hinder the development of other characters. How can we create a female character more powerful than a white man without white men attacking the story by calling everything woke?

For example, the story takes place on another planet, so the countries that exist in real life do not exist on this planet. In this scenario, is it better to avoid creating white characters and give exclusive space to other types of characters?

Say there was a planet in a far away galaxy, the main character is a lavender blush colored woman. Most of the characters on this planet are lavender blush colored. They live in harmony with their orange colored emperor, enjoying a good peaceful life. One day a band of coal black space pirates comes to the planet illegally and start rioting. Most of the citizens wants to stop them. But a group of fiends, who are colored white as chalk wants these bandits to rob the planet of its riches! Our lavender blush colored heroine triumphantly overpowers villains and kicks them into prison were they belong and send the pirates back home. Our heroine receives a great reward for saving the planet and making it great again.

The characters and countries in this example does not represent our planet and if anyone thinks otherwise they are wrong. Any similarities to IRL is purely coincidence.

I suppose you could call the fiends chocolate brown if you don’t want to use chalk white characters. They could also be crimson red or lavender blue. Lots of colors these aliens can have.

It's a good idea, but it's not my kind of story. It would be about a group of humans similar to those on Earth, but without white people. I think it would be easier to create a story without white people, because then you wouldn't have to deal with attacks from right-wing white people. I have nothing against white people, but it must be hard to have to deal with attacks because the most important characters aren't white, right?

Why do you care in the first place? Anything can be considered woke if it upsets a white person. The smartest person is a black woman, not a white man = woken up. The strongest man is a black man = woke. LGBTs are normalized = woke. A white woman dates a non-white man = woke. Do you want to avoid creating white characters so you don't have to deal with them? That's useless, because people will say you're woke up because you're excluding white people from your story. You can even point out that there are stories where non-white people don't exist and that everyone is white, but that's irrelevant, because they'll just annoy you anyway.

Know who your consumers will be and focus on them. Your story is about Asians, focus on Asians. There are many examples of successful stories about Asians. Want to create a story about Africans? Then just focus on Africans. Use African mythology and create a story and focus on black characters and get the attention of the black community. There are many stories about successful blacks and Africans. Get inspired by the stories that already exist, get inspired by successful black artists and make your own story.

Most people aren't bothered by the race of characters. As long as the characters are well thought out and developed, it's not an issue. It's when an established character's race is suddenly changed and it comes across as pandering that it becomes an issue. It's the laziness for me.

its not biased its an observation. The only reason there is an attack on "woke" stories is because they are garbage. There have been plenty of movies that have had female leads or black leads that have been great. But the problem is that when you are pushing the art towards the backseat in favor of the woke checklist the end product is trash.

Fallout was a series that just came out that had a female lead and a black male lead and it was fantastic and everyone loved it.. because it was not a woke piece of garbage, it was a great story that just happened to have a female and black actors.

What is the probability that the author will have to deal with right-wing white people's tantrums? The probability is high. If my story were about a black girl in a fantasy world, I would simply make a story based on African mythology, because I can justify the absence of white characters and the chances of having to deal with right-wing white people would decrease, as most right-wingers are not interested in African mythology and there is an audience that will consume it. Stories about African mythologies have already been made and have been successful. All I need to do is build on what has already worked.
