I mean if you can explain anything with science, what is this? Like who did put things to teach them that way? Just society rules and show off? Just evolution?

in some cases, they like the feeling (visual, feel, etc) of shiny objects but need quality... like real silver or gold rather than other metals they are sensitive to. Thus, they buy quality.

Women are generally very insecure. They also backstab and talk about each other behind each other's back. Everything they wear, clothes, shoes, handbag, jewelry, watches, designer eyeglasses, even their phone, is to compete with and impress the other women they hang out with, not men.

In contrast men generally couldn't give a crap what their buddies are wearing, don't badmouth or gossip about friends, and care more about making an impression on women.
