Does America need mental help?

For example liberals who get triggered by Donald trump and they explode with anger but yet last republican president we had we seemed more together as a country and people weren't losing their minds and losing sleep all over one person. Its just amazing how crazy people are.

Vietnam was the beginning of the end of the USA, in terms of being seen as the de facto Big Boss shining light. That's when it's leaders started using what the Vietnamese used on them-propaganda, in conjunction with an influx of drugs and guns. Since then, they've lost Vietnam, had to pull out of Afghanistan, got pulled by the PM of Singapore over the Michael Fay situation, verbally bitching slapped on TV by the mayor of Vancouver over the 94 hockey riots, laughed at and brushed off by the Chinese and Russians over the Snowden situation, had Russia tell THEM what the deal was over the Brittany Grinder situation, the list goes on. None of that was happening prior to Vietnam. The rest of the world KNOWS now. What's ironic... is that America's elite learned a valuable lesson from Vietnam, and are using it with brutal efficiency. Keep thy pockets fat by selling everyone else down the river, and giving them juuuuust enough things to keep them permanently distracted.

I think most Americans need some form of therapy or even medication because the suicide rate is climbing and more and more people are coming out with being severely depressed and I think it has a lot to do with the state of our economy. Many Americans can't afford the price of groceries and rent without living with roommates or just choosing to live with parents or grandparents until the economy improves. While Trump has said he would change the state of the economy, for a lot of us it still isn't a reality yet. We are still struggling and that has brought down a lot of people's morale.

We do need to get better at recognizing and treating mental illnesses in this country, but we are not alone. Pretty much every western society has similar problems that i like to describe as “insanity of privilege”.

Ethically; the reasons they were defunded and ultimately shut down were legitimate. But they could have been reformed instead of closed.
Especially with the current strength of Big Pharma and Big Healthcare. Do we really want to give them more profits and power over average citizens? I think not.
