Wow just look at all the mayhem and destruction in the city! isn't it awful? Just kidding of course... the media is lying to people Los Angeles is HUGE! and the protests are only happening in like 3 streets in one small part of the city. Yes there were a couple of burning waymo (driverless) cars but as you can see the city is still here. building are still standing. people are still enjoying themselves. It's 99% peaceful comprende?  vv go here to listen to the music accompanying the Dance vv :)

But you're supposed to believe Trump, not the governor or chief of police in the city, and especially not Jimmy Kimmel!  DHS has been going to grade schools and lying about having parental consent to take first grade children out of class.  Police have been targeting journalists.

But the reality doesn't fit their narrative! How dare the protesters not loot and riot more! We have to justify federalizing the National Guard and sending in the Marines! These peaceful protesters are making Trump look bad... They're being peaceful out of spite to make him look bad. That's worse than if they rioted!

I find it annoying when peaceful protest gets publicized as a riot because a few individuals decided to commit crimes. Like do not commit crimes, especially not if you're trying to be part of the protest because it fundamentally distracts from the message and gives your opposition opportunity to dismiss you, but a minority of people making shitty decisions while a protest is happening is different than a riot.

Most people know this. It's like saying that California was on fire when LA had its fires. My parents were both in California at that time, Berkley was not on fire, nor was it close to the fires, but it was California.
