First of all, that won't happen, but if we for the sake of argument say it does.. I dont particularly care. Trade out one insane abrahamic religion for another. Strictly speaking, they are pretty much identical from a doctrine standpoint so the transition would just be cosmetic and surface level.

That is a social difference, not a religious one. They are equally oppressed in both versions since they are virtually identical on this issue.

@Chazmatazz269 Why wouldn't I? They are pretty much objectively the same in scripture, the difference is merely in how that scripture is followed. Christians has just gotten way less interested in oppressing women over the years for cultural reasons. The results would have been the same if they had started out as Muslims. Its a cultural shift, not a religious one that has given women less prosecution and discrimination in western countries.

As you can see, the traditional Nun outfit is exactly the same as I would expect of a woman who practice traditional Islamic beliefs.

Right, but women choose to be nuns. In parts of the Middle East, you can be punished for not wearing the traditional garb. That is a critical difference. Also, you are 100% correct when you say that Christianity and Islam share the same Abrahamic roots and have some theological similarities. Yeah. People choose to wear those restrictive clothes in Islam as well. Sure, there are a few countries where its the law but that is by far the minority and they are just applying the same kind of scriptures that is in Christianity.

And sure, there are social and political differences between current Islamic and Christian countries but that is not originating from the religion itself. As such switching out the religion ONLY does not change much since the religious parts between Islam and Christianity is identical for all intents and purposes.

What if Muslims make up the majority of Europe's population in certain places? Do you think they will be tolerant of non-believers? Will laws become more in accordance with Islam, such as restrictions on women's rights?
