Sort of did and sort of didn't because I knew of the events but didn't recall the battle name. I am curious as to how far Napoleon was apart from Lannes. It seems to have taken from 1 pm to 5 pm for the French forces to consolidate. Napoleon managed to achieve that faster than expected... but how?

What interests me about this battle is not only the military victory but above all its political consequences. It's the apogee of the empire for me. Not 1812.
