6 moSurplus of the hard labor that natural born Americans are less likely to join, also there is vast amounts of open spaces that need to be constantly filled or else construction and other job sources would halt.
I talked about how high skilled workforce is prepared through college, something ‘illegals’ will never be able to achieve since you need a large surplus of wealth accumulation, same reason why African American population has been facing road blocks to good education and needed the scholarships SCOTUS & President Trump cracked down on.
Low benefits to none, lowest wages, long grueling hours in the extreme heat or extreme cold, low skilled labor, etc. are better for immigrants since they see this as just ‘part of the job’ and will take this treatment over the treatment from their place of origin where Natural Born Citizens would not be so obliged.
10 Reply Cheap labor? Specifically cheap, largely unregulated labor in fields most Americans intentionally avoid anyway.
21 ReplyOne reason, to be such a good human being by giving our little friends south of the border a nice income while settling here!! (sic) It has NOTHING to do with saving money by paying them much less. Because they are such good humans.

I just LOVE to watch a brainwashed mind answer a question such as this. Watch how the culprit puts forth the reasoning for the need for the cheap labor. "Because the vendors, stores, and wholesalers would then have to pay MORE for the produce, then the price for US would be higher." You know the billionaires LOVE to hear of the "little" people fighting for their right to hire cheap, illegal laborers. They still sell their produce at the price legally rated for the laborers because, shucks, if they didn't they'd be found out and let's face it, what human gives another a fuckin break?

6 moBecause it's cheaper, or they don't care, or they don't know.
Keep in mind that most illegals came here legally. If their legal stay expires, how will a company know? I don't know what kind of records they are required to keep if they hire a legal alien. Do they pay attention to the expiration date?00 Reply
Anonymous(30-35)6 moBecause it benefits everyone since the jobs they're being hired for are unwanted by everyone else.

It does not benefit everyone. If there were no undocumented workers to take those jobs, the employers would have to offer more, and some US workers would receive a higher wage. The jobs are unwanted at the wages offered. If picking produce paid $100/hour, plenty of people would want those jobs. So somewhere between the current wage and $100/hour is the minimum wage that make people want those jobs.

@slatyb I the employers have to pay more, they will need to charge more, which in turn will reduce sales since most products are not essential. This will result in the business becoming less and less profitable and may put it out of business altogether. This benefits nobody.
You can change $ 100 for 10 oranges and very few people will buy them.

Well yes. But when you have families working for you for 20-25 years they probably have to fund some extra expenses and happily as they are friends at that point. Because they are happy they often stay after getting their legal status. That process I know can take 5+ years. Seen that many times over with Welsh and many Mexican friends.

It's more complicated than that.

Exactly.

It's more important to get the job done well vs simply finding cheap help. So I have to mostly disagree. Cheap means a heap of problems. If it wasn't more than that they wouldn't spend decades on the same farms.

Hiring immigrants pretty much guarantees they will work their hardest not to lose a job.
